Introduction

At the undergraduate level, the School offers a Physics stream in the Generic Bachelor of Science degree programme, as well as a 6-unit minor in Physics. Physics units can also be taken as electives for a number of other degree programmes. The emphasis in the Physics programmes is in the areas of Mechanics and Physical Electronics, with strong links to the undergraduate Engineering degrees. Honours is available through the Bachelor of Science (Physics) Honours degree.

At the postgraduate level, Physics-based research studies can be undertaken through a number of degree programmes, including the Engineering Doctor of Philosophy, the Master of Engineering Science and the Master of Science (Interdisciplinary).
